Planet Ruler won a record 10 straight races on Brisbane racetracks in the 1987/88 season going from an Eagle Farm maiden to winning the QTC Guineas and Eagle Farm Handicap. It is a record for consecutive wins on Brisbane tracks and consecutive wins in Brisbane in a season.

Eye Liner won her first nine starts in Brisbane and Sydney in the 1964/65 season. It is a record for consecutive wins from a first start by a Brisbane horse.

Maybe Lad won nine races on Brisbane tracks as a two-year-old in 1964/65 which is a record for a juvenile on Brisbane metropolitan tracks. Eye Liner also won nine races at two years but one was in Sydney.

Gay James won 16 races (including a dead heat) in Townsville from October 1970 to April 1974.

Blackall mare Miss Petty won 22 races in a row on Queensland country tracks from 1985 to 1989. She won her first start in a Goondiwindi maiden and at her last start she broke the course record at Longreach for 1100m on July 22, 1989.

Sava Jet won 22 races in a row in north Queensland from March 1983 to December 1985. A quarter horse-gallops sprinter he was later raced on the quarter horse circuit in the USA.

Picnic In The Park won 21 straight races but broke down in a race at Rockhampton on March 30, 1985, trying to break his own record.

Phelan Ready was a maiden when he won the 2009 Magic Millions Two-Year-Old Classic at 50-1.

Warrior Girl was a Class 1 horse when she won the 2010 Magic Millions Sprint.

Valdaroy (Merv Wrigley) won an Albion Park first division on February 14, 1959, when 10.

Golden Stockdale was a maiden when she won the 1959 QTC Oaks.
