The Little Black Book

In 1964 BTQ Channel 7 launched Queensland's first live racing program in black and white entitled "The Little Black Book" presented by The Courier-Mail/Sunday Mail racing writer Jim Anderson on Saturday mornings. The racing coverage was expanded to Sundays in "Past the Post", a summary in film of the previous days racing. This program merged into Queensland's first hour of general sport in "World Sports Parade" with Jim Anderson and colourful punter Nat Gould (no relation to the author).
