Cooney (IATC), Mr Douglas Wadley (QTC), Mr A. Sakzewski (Chairman and Government Nominee), Dr C. W. Uhr (BATC), Dr J. F. O'Duffy (RJC), Mr T. L. Heatley (NQRA). Absent - Mr J. F. Banks (CQRA) who resigned March 1962 and was replaced by Mr F. Hart.

Australia has a rich history in the field of the automatic totalisator with the first one in the world being invented in Australia in 1913. The one installed at Eagle Farm in 1917 was only the third one in the world. These early Australian totalisators are regarded by some as the first computers and there are many anecdotes relating to the totes in Brisbane.

Sir Albert Sakzewski was the founding chairman and government nominee of the Totalisator Administration Board of Queensland and bred and raced many successful horses over a fifty year period.

Brian has worked as an engineer on totalisator systems at the Brisbane racetracks for 32 years coming to Brisbane with the first on course computer totalisators.
