Peter Moody

Peter Moody is another top trainer who came from western Queensland, and cut his teeth as stable foreman for Bill Mitchell in Brisbane. The stable produced General Nediym who won the 1997 Magic Millions. Although Moody was not the official trainer he impressed with the work he did with "The General". Moody took out his own licence and has not looked back mixing with the top trainers across the country.

His big wins include Amalfi (VRC Derby), Cinque Centro (Doomben Cup), Sky Cuddle (Emirates Classic), Magnus (AJC Galaxy), Riva San (QTC Oaks, QTC Derby), Ancient Song (Salinger Stakes), Typhoon Tracy (Coolmore Classic, Myer Classic, Orr Stakes, Futurity Stakes) and Wanted (VRC Newmarket).
