Paul Hammersley

A stablemate of star apprentice Michael Rodd in the early 2000s, Paul Hammersley is considered to be equally talented but he has had a horror run with illness and injury. However, he is one of only two 3kg claiming apprentices in Brisbane to ride a Group 1 winner. His best wins include QTC Oaks (Moon Meki), Tattersall's Cup (Captain Test), Caloundra Cup (Empyreal), Townsville Cup (Awesome Warrior, Snippety Snip), Rockhampton Cup (New Trader).
