Name a top class horse to race in Queensland between the 1960s and early 1990s, Larry Olsen probably rode it. His career is all the better because right from his apprenticeship he was a heavyweight. He retired to a dairy farm in the 1980s but made a famous comeback winning the Melbourne Cup and Golden Slipper. Olsen later became a respected commentator on Sky Channel.
