Kelly Schweida

Kelly Schweida was a handy north Queensland jockey and then trainer before transferring to Brisbane in 1994. He had plenty of success before taking a break in 2001. Since coming back into the game he has had a large amount fo success through horses such as Nova Star, Top Marc and Plain Magic.

His best horses included: Nova Star (Winter Stakes, QTC Cup, QTC Guineas, Silk Stocking), Plain Magic (Magic Millions Fillies and Mares Quality, Nudgee Gold Stakes), October Sky (O'Duffy Memorial), Exertion (Gianni's Restaurant Plate) Playground Express (Starlet Stakes), Top Marc (Glasshouse Mountains Handicap, Doomben Stakes) Commercial Dane (Redlands Plate) Mr Chevalier (Country Cup), Inside Edge (QM Stakes), Beyond Space (Rocket Stakes) and Tranquil Love (Farm Stakes).
