Gillian Heinrich

Gillian Heinrich migrated from England to Australia with her family when she was six and even as a child loved attending the Gold Coast races. Heinrich has claims to being not only one of Queensland's best women trainers but one of the best trainers full stop. She became only the second Gold Coast-based trainer to win the Magic Millions Classic with Military Rose in 2010. But she has had a string of smart horses and won races in three states.

A few of her best wins include the Magic Millions 2YO Classic (Military Rose), McLachlan Stakes (Military Rose), Lough Neagh Stakes (Ghetto Blaster), Calaway Gal Stakes (Military Rose), Hart Stakes (All Bar One), Rubiton Stakes (Dance The Waves), Ascot Handicap (Rasmussen), Parups Plate (Tour Guide), Magic Millions Plate (Tour Guide) and Mode Stakes (Swiss Rose).
