He lost the 1976 Epsom by a nose to 100-1 shot La Neige and the 1977 Stradbroke by a nose to 100-1 shot Sir Wisp. However, he did win STC Fredeick Clissold and the Rosehill Ajax Stakes when he ran a race record. He later stood as a sire.
