Tough stayer who showed his class by winning the 1997 Prime Ministers Cup. However he was brilliant enough to win the Bernborough Handicap and the Bank of Queensland Stakes both at 1600m. In fact six of his 11 wins were at the metric mile. He later stood at stud for his owner Jan Clark, a member of one of Queensland’s most famous racing families.
