Trainer Frank Penfold was noted for some top stayers such as Pyramul and Daneson but Seawinne was his best sprinter. She won the Doomben Slipper and also a class 6 against older horses in her six wins at two. As an older mare she won the Caloundra Lightning, GCTC Goldmarket, Toowoomba Weetwood, Dalby Newmarket and the BTC Fosters Cup (now the BTC Cup).
