Rocky Court was among the first top horses trained by Bill Calder when he moved from western Queensland and won 14 races during the mid-1960s. He won at least once in each of his first six seasons and his best wins included the Queensland Guineas, Doomben Silver Dollar, Sir Winston Churchill Stakes, BTC Bernborough Stakes and Tattersall’s President’s Mile. Rocky Court won at distances from 6F (1200m) to 11F (2200m).
