From his two-year-old days, when he won a Doomben two-year-old maiden, he showed promise as a stayer. As a four-year-old he won the 1962 Doomben Cup after winning three races during a Sydney campaign earlier in the season. It was one of jockey Barry Stein’s two Doomben Cup wins. But he failed to win again having another 31 starts for four thirds.
