Very smart two and three-year-old who topped off a great two seasons by winning the 1999 Doomben 10,000 for jockey Mike Pelling. He was marked as a future star after coming from an outside alley to win the 1997 Fitton Two-Year-Old Stakes on his home track of Toowoomba. Lauries Lottery won seven feature races including the Randwick Inglis Classic, BTC Golden Horseshoe, Todman Slipper Trial, Roman Consul Stakes, Heritage Stakes and the Doomben 10,000.
