On her day was among the best stayers seen in Australia. At three she won eight races rising from an Eagle Farm maiden to winning the 1986 AJC Oaks and Doomben Channel 7 Classic. She completed the Princess Handicap-Oaks double and in both showed an enormous sprint up the Randwick hill coming from near last at the 600m. As a four-year-old she had problems but still managed to win the QTC Ascot Handicap and Flemington Turnbull Stakes.
