His Doomben Cup win gave trainer Cyril Wrigley and son Merv Wrigley a rare place in racing history. They are one of only four father son teams to win Group 1 races in Brisbane since WW11. High Society also won a Tattersall’s Cup for the Wrigleys but later lost all form and never won again.
