Unlucky galloper who was bred in the purple being by star sire Planet Kingdom out of the top race mare Gypsy Moss. He did his early racing in Queensland where he showed enough promise to be sent south. There he won the Warwick Stakes but had no luck in big races. He ran second in the Orr Stakes, Chelmsford Stakes, Apollo Stakes and George Ryder Stakes. But his best run was second to Iko in the 1980 Doncaster. He was later a handy sire.
