Best remembered for winning a BTC International Stakes (for visiting riders) when ridden by the great British jockey Lester Piggott. But Duchense was among the best horses racing in Brisbane in the late 1950s winning the QTC Sires Produce, BTC Carnival Handicap and QTC Centenary Cup. He was also third in the famous 1958 Stradbroke Handicap when Wiggle became the last two-year-old to win the Group 1 race.
