| History: | Noorama Picnic Race Club is part of the Noorama recreation reserve – a dot on the map where people from south west Queensland come together at least once a year to have a fabulous day out in true bush spirit. The club was formed in 1965. The track races in an anti-clockwise direction so the horse and jockey do not have to race into the setting western sun. |
