Facilities Town: 4 motels, 3 hotels, caravan park, winery, gold diggings, Bunya mountains 1hr drive away. 
How to get to race track: Off main highway - Yarraman-Nanango Road.
Approx 3kms from Nanango
Private car, taxi, free bus runs from RSL in Nanango to “Lee Park” on race days. 
How to get to town: Brisbane Bus Lines Transport, motor vehicle, Twin Engine Airplane - air strip beside Lee Park Racetrack. 
History: The first organised Race Meeting conducted in the district was held at Nanango Station on Boxing Day, 1859. Between 1859 and 1862 racing was transferred from Nanango Station (now owned by the Caffery family) to and area known as “Steamer Lagoon”. So named because of the mist that is now part of Mr & Mrs Pat Langans farm.
