Facilities Track: One local and four southern event bookmakers, TAB, bar, canteen, Sky coverage of southern events, stabling (72 horses capacity), owners and trainers association. Sponsored raceday hospitality area for visiting and participating owners and trainers. 
Facilities Town: Well-serviced, modern city with seven hotels, major sporting clubs and 15 motels. Gladstone Harbour festival is held annually over Easter, The harbour is the finishing point of the annual Brisbane-Gladstone Yacht Race. 
How to get to race track: The club is situated on Dawson Highway near the Kin Kora shopping centre. 
How to get to town: Gladstone is a coastal Central Queensland city, 540km north of Brisbane, 110km south of Rockhampton. 
History: Formed in July 1869, the Gladstone Turf Club now hosts 17 meetings a year. The Gladstone Cup was first run in 1892. In 1897 the club issued membership tickets to ladies for the first time.
