How to get to race track: Head west along Meson St from the bridge corner, turn left into Spencer St and right into Arthur St. The track is located at the far end of Arthur St. Free taxi is provided to and from the town area 
History: Gayndah Racecourse is the oldest course still in use in Queensland. It was first used in the 1850's and deeded in 1863. It became the home of the Queensland Jockey Club in 1861 and was the home of the Queensland Derby in 1868. The race course was heritage listed in 2005.
