Facilities Track: Bookmakers, TAB, bar facilities, catering facilities. 
Facilities Town: 2 hotels, 3 motels. Esk is situated in the Brisbane Valley (Valley of the Lakes) with Lake Somerset and Lake Wivenhoe providing major water-sport facilities. 
How to get to race track: Travelling from the south, turn left at the Shire Council Chambers, Ipswich St, into Redbank St. Travel past the bowling club on the left. Turn right over bridge to the racetrack. Public transport is not available. 
How to get to town: From Brisbane, travel on the Warrego Highway to the Brisbane Valley Highway. The drive up the valley over the Lake Wivenhoe Retaining Wall is picturesque. 
History: The club has operated for about 100 years. The club’s racing program now includes a mixture of two Saturday non-TAB and eight midweek TAB meetings.
